Proverbs 4:1-7 (TLB) Young men, listen to me as you would to your father. Listen, and grow wise, for I speak the truth—don’t turn away. For I, too, was once a son, tenderly loved by my mother as an only child, and the companion of my father. He told me never to forget his words. “If you follow them,” he said, “you will have a long and happy life. Learn to be wise,” he said, “and develop good judgment and common sense! I cannot overemphasize this point.” Cling to wisdom—she will protect you. Love her—she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do! And with your wisdom, develop common sense and good judgment.

Proverbs 11:25 (NLT) The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Proverbs‬ 14‬:‭4‬ Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.

Proverbs 17:17 (NIV) A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Proverbs 13:3 (NASB) One who guards his mouth protects his life; One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Proverbs 3:1-6 (NLT) My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying. Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

4:7 (NIV) The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
